Over 30 years in the area of software development as software developer, Systems Analyst, software architect, team leader, project manager and program manager. Over 14 years as part-time university teacher (Al Azhar university – Islamic university – Al –Quds open university).
Distinguished experiences in risk management and strategic management for over 20 years in the Pension administration, Palestine 1998 -2020.
Eng. Mahmoud Arafat
Chairman of the Board
Mahmoud Arafat is the President and Co-Founder of multiple companies and the startup Inventionland-MENA, Enlightening Learning Minds (ELM), New Solutions, and Aura
and he has been developing this business line for Inventionland since 2016. It has been his duty and goal to bring knowledge and innovation to the Middle East and North Africa regions from the United States, particularly in the field of education, IoT and innovation.
Mahmoud began his career as an intern at Inventionland in 2007. Most recently, he served as the Director of Innovation for the MENA region at Inventionland, which led him ultimately to co-founded Inventionland-MENA.

Board Member of Palestinian IT Association of Companies (PITA).
20 years of experience in the area of information systems development and design as software developer, database developer, data warehouse and business intelligence specialist, system analyst, software architect, team leader and project manager.
Working since 8 years till now as lecturer and researcher in information technology faculty at University of Palestine.
Working more than 10 years as an ICT consultant with many NGO, private and public organizations.
